Teaching Equipments
    The school has appropriated more than RMB 15 million yuan on the lab construction in the past three years, and the current lab center occupies more than 6000 square meters. The teaching equipments are worth more than RMB 20 million yuan, among which more than 300 exceed over a million in value. The lab center constitutes 6 teaching laboratories attached to which are 24 branch-laboratories. In 2002, on the basis of technological laboratory of electrician & electron, the Zhejiang basic course teaching demo-centre of electrician & electronic was set up.
The Computer center is equipped with nearly 500 high-performance computer with accesses to Internet, allowing all students to enjoy the basic computer courses and all kinds of high-level languages design, etc..

Training Mode
    The institute adopts the mode of diversified personnel training based on the of " platform + module ". According to the general classifying enrollment, a student studies for 1 or 2 year of public basic platform course and discipline basic course, then choose the specific major according to the principles of " wish + choice "; After one year’s study on the professional basic platform, he/she decides the professional direction and takes the module course in the selected direction according to the social demands for talents and personal characteristic.
    The institute opens the computer science & technology, electronic information science & technology, automation, communication engineering, electrical engineering & automation. A four-year professional schooling is required for any student to finish the undergraduate program and be awarded the bachelor's degree of the engineering.
    After many years of professional development and construction, " computer science and technology " major is among the first group to be classified as Zhejiang Province and Ningbo municipal key construction major, and along with it is the " electrical engineering and automation " as Zhejiang Province key construction major. "electronic information science and technology " has been promoted as Ningbo University key construction major.
